Why choose BCRM

 

While we certainly understand the many financial demands that come up daily, and the many choices you have to support various charities, we do hope you will consider helping us rebuild this beautiful parish in Bahia.

 

In the United States, we are so fortunate to find a church on just about every block.  Our options are limitless, our churches are safe, warm and certainly provde protection.  We are able to participate in ministries, small groups, bible studies and other organized events through our churches.  

 

The small town of Bahia is about to lose their only chance of having access to those types of things.  At this point, they are unable to organize any ministies at all, and only have Sunday meetings.  If this roof gives way, as it is certain to do, if left unaltered, even those Sunday meeetings will end.  The church will become unsafe, and the building condemned.  

 

The parisioners are in need of rejuvination in their community, and we believe that can start with the repair of their place of worship.  We hope to give them a sense of community and pride as they actually participate in the reconstruction of their church.

 

Lead coordinator, Pam Walton's prayer is that the Holy Spirit will pour through each and every parishioner in a new and vital way.  As the structure becomes stronger, so to will their relationship with God strengthen.
